Migrating files & directories

To copy a directory tree including permissions/ownership/shares/local users/groups:

 

1. Make sure you have configured your source and destination servers.

    

2. Open the File Copy Screen.

    

3. Enter your source root directory to copy. Preferably, this should be defined relative to an administrative file share.

           Example:

                     \\remotehost\c$\PublicFolder\FolderToCopy

    

4. Enter your parent directory which will contain the copied tree.

           Example:

                     c:\publicfolder\

    

    

5. Select the options relevant to your file transfer.

    

6. Click Copy.
